Isolation Room 2 in the performance area of Old House is slightly larger than Iso 1. With corner traps and an oriental rug in place, Iso 2 provides a very controlled room sound. This room has proven especially useful for recording electric guitars, upright bass, and vocals. We generally leave our guitar amplifers here (although they can be moved without a problem) and they remain plugged-in for easy auditioning. There are also plenty of guitar stands and straps available for session use. Numerous tie lines to the control room can comfortably accomodate drum kit recording in Iso 2, as well. Overhead lights can be dimmed, if desired. A well-insulated window into Iso 3 and a large glass door to the Live Room provide excellent lines of sight between Iso 2 and the additional performance areas.
