OUTSIDE LOUNGE:

When the weather is nice, bands often take breaks outside.

Smoking is not allowed in the studio, so this is a necessity for some. There is an ashcan just outside the front door for cigarette disposal.

The area around the studio is quite serene. Just beyond the parking area is a nice, large expanse of yard enclosed by trees on 400 acres of farm land. The yard is large enough to accomodate band sporting events, which have included frisbee and bocce ball in the past. There is a very friendly and amusing cat that lives at a nearby house and frequently hangs out in our yard. (The cat is not allowed in the studio.) During the summer, you can also occasionally see rabbits and skink (small lizards) around the building.

There is plenty of parking space and a loading ramp leading up to the main entrance of the studio for easier equipment mobility.

We have even recorded outside on occasion and the front porch of the studio has appeared in many bands' press kits and album art.

During rennovation, the rustic look of the studio's exterior was maintained intentionally. You can read about the facinating history of the building here.
